Host training meetings during the year, ending with an annual training symposium. CBIA provides topics of interest relating to all facets of pre-employment and background investigations, including sworn and non-sworn entry requirements and other important areas of background investigations on applicants, e.g., employment history, drug/alcohol history, social media, credit, DMV and military records issues, including legal updates and training, with new POST guidelines. CBIA also offers strong networking ties with links to numerous agencies throughout the state. All of our speakers/trainers are well-known experts in their fields, offering our members their years of experience for background investigations. CBIA also posts and notifies its members of future background investigation courses and background update classes. CBIA is proud to have over 500 members statewide.
